To keep us on this successful track, we’re searching for a highly qualified Chief of Staff to work closely with our executive team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a Chief of Staff, Business Management, Strategic Operations, Professional Consulting or similar role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.   


What You Will Do:

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership and departmental heads
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity
  • Take ownership of initiatives in preliminary stages to ensure progress begins while leaders are being identified
  • Serve as a liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning
  • Build and develop relationships with all Andelans for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations
  • Assist in defining new operational strategies

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • 5+ years in a business or executive management role
  • Proven experience organizing and directing cross-functional teams and departments
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Gsuite, Office, HR software, Salesforce a plus
  • Expert level experience creating presentation decks
  • Extremely versatile and proactive
  • Proven ability to think strategically and focus on business growth
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail

Nice To Haves:

  • Experience within a pre IPO Startup
  • Experience with data analysis and budget management
  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
  • Proven success in a project management
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
  • Slidewear skills a plus
  • Familiarity with data tools like Looker Tableau a plus
  • Experience supporting boards a plus
  • Familiarity with operating companies like Andela a plus
