Territory Support Representative at Pluralsight

The Territory Support Representative (TSR) is a key sales enabler for a group of sales reps, who drives “on the ground” activity that creates a streamlined sales motion. The TSR provides rapid response to sales reps for core deliverables that drive sales results, including: customer price quotes, territory reporting, sales collateral, desktop research, and operational support as necessary. The TSR may be identified as the point of contact for some customers to enable a faster transaction path and a streamlined experience.

The TSR is a knowledge resource that helps link sales teams to Sales Operations, Legal, Finance, and Support; helping to optimize sales activity, identify process improvement focus areas, and collaborate across multiple stakeholder organizations to drive sales revenue.

The TSR prioritizes Sales teams and individual sales opportunities; helping to remove roadblocks so that the Sales team can execute with precision and secure revenue for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive coordination and support resourcing for the sales territory

  • Work closely with sales team to achieve Pluralsight’s sales goals

  • Provide pre-sales client support as needed

  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Pluralsight platform

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and other enabling support teams to ensure an enabled Sales and Customer Success team

  • Coordinate with Finance and Legal teams to ensure contract and invoice alignment to sales orders

  • Provide quotes to prospective customers as directed by the Sales team

  • Aide customers in navigating the MSA (Master Services Agreement) process

  • Assist reps and customers with vendor form agreements and other administrative tasks related to sales process

  • Provide process and tool expertise that enable the Sales and Success teams to achieve sales goals

  • Research and find data to support individual and comprehensive selling activities

  • Look for areas of improvement within the systems and process to further enable productivity

  • Operate as primary field and inside support resource, providing task offloading as needed

 
Experience you’ll need:
  • Proficiency in service and organizational support
  • Strong expertise in time management and organization skills

  • Comfortable defining and maintaining a service level agreement with Sales and Success teams

  • Responsive, personal, communicative, and professional

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and deliver on critical needs in a timely manner

  • Experience working as a key support member in a fast-paced, technical sales team environment

  • Ability to build, work within, and improve structured processes

  • Solid understanding of financial, sales and business-related practices

  • Able to understand the bigger picture and challenge themselves to go beyond what is just in front of them

  • Open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude with the ability to think outside of the box

  • Competency in MS Office applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Salesforce experience a plus but not mandatory
